ACADEMIA DE LíDERES

Academia de Líderes equips emerging grassroots leaders from Portland and surrounding areas with the tools needed to become agents of change and to advocate for our community’s best interests. Participants build leadership skills, organizing capabilities, and the capacity to engage in local governance to have their voices heard. The program introduces participants to Portland, Multnomah County, and Metro (among others) government structures, officials, and decision-making processes.

  • For community members aspiring to receive training on leadership development. Sessions are held in Spanish, participants are encouraged to have proficiency in Spanish. Program sessions are developed from and use cultural references specific to Latin American communities here in Portland, Oregon and abroad.
