REQUIREMENT:
Students are in need of a consistent positive role model after school. Whatever schedule you create with the school site, please make sure you can commit to it. Even if it’s an hour a week, students count on seeing your smile and showing you care about their well-being.
SCHEDULE:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, roughly 3:15pm-5:00pm (specific schedules may vary depending on the location)
POSITION SUMMARY:
After-school support volunteers will be involved with all aspects of the afterschool programming, including check-in/supervision, assisting instructors in the classroom with general supervision and/or tutoring. This position involves working closely with high school aged youth, as well as school staff.
ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Helping with academics or enrichment classes
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with youth is preferred, as well as skills in communication, teamwork, and punctuality.
TIME COMMITMENT:
8+ weeks commitment preferred. Volunteers may work up to 4 days a week.

- Undergo and pass a criminal background check
