Rebeca joined the Family Stability Programs Team as an Energy Assistance Program Coordinator for Latino Network in 2016. She works to help underrepresented families in assisting them with finding energy and home-related resources. Her favorite part about her job is that she gets to make a difference in peoples’ lives and in the community.

Before joining Latino Network, Rebeca worked at Planned Parenthood Columbia-Willamette and as a telecomm business operator for several years. Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Rebeca holds three degrees in International Business from San Diego State University, Universidad Autónama de Baja California and Université du Québec á Chicoutimi.

She is most proud of her experiences that came from studying in Mexico, the U.S. and Canada and all of the different cultures she learned about along the way.

Along with helping low-income families with energy assistance programs at Latino Network, Rebeca also works as an in-home tutor with IRCO and volunteers with Planned Parenthood.

When she isn’t doing amazing things in the community, Rebeca enjoys spending time with her family and pets and being surrounded by all of the nature around Portland, Oregon.
