We are proud to announce the launch of our SUN Schools this summer! SUN Community Schools are meant to not only help students have a safe enriching place to grow, but also to engage with their parents and other community members as well.

“My favorite thing about the SUN School Program is seeing schools, families, and the community work to support the academic success of underpriveledged students,” said Antonio Subira, manager of SUN Community Schools for Latino Network. “SUN Community Schools can provide culturally specific services that have proven to be effective in our community.”

This summer’s SUN activities included four weeks of enriching programs, food pantries at select sites, and healthy lunches for all students.

The SUN Schools help create a holistic, supportive community that all students and parents can rely on, and we're so excited to be apart of this amazing county-wide program!

We're in the following eight schools:
•    Bridger Elementary
•    Cesar Chavez School
•    Harvey Scott School
•    Kelly Elementary
•    Rigler elementary
•    Reynolds Middle School
•    Hartley Elementary
•    Woodland Elementary
