THE LATINO INSTITUTE AT CREATING CHANGE 2013 CONFERENCE
On January 24, 2013, Unión=Fuerza will bring together diverse groups of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
Transgender (LGBT) Latinos/as and Allies from across the country to foster supportive
relationships and build each others’ capacity to advance LGBT Latino/a activism. Organized by a
strong coalition of Latino, LGBT and Latino LGBT organizations and individuals, Unión=Fuerza aims
to promote a stronger, more united Latino LGBT community.
This kit will help you engage the participation of your friends, organizations, members, and the
local businesses, media outlets and schools in your community. By spreading the word of
Unión=Fuerza, you can help strengthen the leadership of LGBT Latinos in your community and your
community’s support for LGBT Latinos.
