Angelique Colley

Food Pantry Assistant

Ph: 503. 283. 6881 | Em: angelique@latnet.org

Roles and responsibilities at Latino Network:

I coordinate the food pantry at the Cesar Chavez school.

What motivates you to do this job at Latino Network?

My motivation comes from being able to see the effects of the work I am doing within the population I serve. I believe that regardless of life circumstances, everyone deserves to have access to resources and housing.

Interests and activities:

When I am not working I love to spend time outdoors. I love hiking, surfing, skiing, and cycling. When the weather isn't great, I really enjoy playing board games, crocheting and sewing, and reading.

Most proud achievement:

I will finish my BA in International Studies and two minors (Planning, Public Policy and Management, and Spanish) this September. Even though I will technically graduate in 4 years, I took the long way and have spent three summers taking courses as well as during the year to make up for it. So I haven't had a break from school in 3 years. I'm very excited and proud to be wrapping up my degree at the end of the summer.
